Punggol Digital District: Powering the dreams of a Smart Nation

Master planned and developed by JTC, the 50ha Punggol Digital District (PDD) is Singapore’s first smart and sustainable district. It is also the largest mixed-use Green Mark Platinum District in Singapore, employing district level sustainable practices in energy and water efficiency, material and waste management, green buildings and transport.

Bringing together passive design strategies with mechanical and electrical systems, PDD will achieve a 35% reduction in operational carbon emissions yearly, equivalent to taking 4,000 cars off the road. Powered by the first-of-its-kind Open Digital Platform, it integrates data and control functions across buildings and systems within the district, further optimising energy efficiency by up to 20% and enabling innovation. This vibrant district also seamlessly integrates green and blue spaces with technology for all the community to enjoy.
