• Presentation by MPA, POLA, POLB and C40 Cities on Los Angeles-Long Beach-Singapore Green and Digital Shipping Corridor
MPA, POLA, POLB and C40 will collectively offer an update on the latest implementation plan for the world’s longest Green and Digital Shipping Corridor (GDSC) between Singapore and the San Pedro Bay port complex on the US West Coast, which was announced in April 2023.
• Presentation by IMO, MPA and Lloyd’s Register Maritime Decarbonisation Hub on IMO-Singapore NextGEN Connect and GreenVoyage2050 collaboration
IMO-Singapore NextGEN Connect initiative aims to develop inclusive route-based action plans for the Asia Pacific region. Lloyd’s Register Maritime Decarbonisation Hub, as the winner of the inaugural NextGEN Connect Call for Proposals, will present insights and the way forward.
• Presentation by NUS Centre for Maritime Studies on efforts to encourage the Net Zero Transition
NUS CMS will present an overview on the emerging research areas of the net zero transition in the maritime sectors, including green ports and maritime technology and decarbonisation analytics.
• Presentation by Clifford Capital on efforts to encourage the Net-Zero Transition
Clifford Capital will present their efforts to encourage financing for maritime decarbonisation, including the development and uptake of zero and near-zero emissions solutions.
