This roundtable dialogue reviews Vanuatu's campaign to request an Advisory Opinion from the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on countries' obligation to protect the rights of present and future generations against the adverse impacts as well as the Commission of Small Island States on Climate Change and International Law's (COSIS) aim of bringing a case before International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) to determine the obligations of countries for climate change under international law.
