A Net Zero Government

The GreenGov.SG initiative is the Singapore public sector's sustainability movement. It is a key enabler of the Singapore Green Plan 2030 and demonstrates the public sector's commitment to lead by example in Singapore's environmental sustainability journey.

Under GreenGov.SG, the Singapore public sector has committed to achieve net zero emissions around 2045, five years ahead of the national target.

We will also publish our performance and plans to reduce our environmental footprint. As a member of the Greening Government Initiative and Net Zero Government Initiative, Singapore will continue to learn and share best practices on environmental sustainability with the international community.
